At Highland Colony, we firmly believe that the key to shaping your children's lives—and the future generations of your family—lies within the walls of your home. As parents, you have the incredible opportunity and responsibility to disciple your own children, nurturing their spiritual growth and guiding them in their relationship with God. Our mission is to support you in this vital role, providing resources and encouragement as you navigate the journey of faith together.

This blog aims to be a valuable resource for families seeking to cultivate an environment of spiritual growth and discipleship at home. We invite you to explore our page regularly for tools, insights, and inspiration that can assist you in fostering a rich faith experience for your children. Together, let's empower our families and establish a legacy of faith that can impact generations to come.

"And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children."

- Deuteronomy 6:6-7

"Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power."

- Psalm 145:4

"Give me a child, I teach him the Bible, and he will not be lost; bind him to my word, and he will not be lost."

- Joel 1:3
Join us on Wednesday nights from March 19 to April 30 for an engaging study on Habits of the Household. Joel and Lauren will share foundational principles to help you effectively pass your faith on to your children, along with practical tips and resources. Joel and Lauren have used two different books to develop this study: Habits of the Household by Justin Earley and Building Spiritual Habits by Chris Pappalardo and Clayton Greene. The Bible study will begin at 6:15 PM, and you're welcome to join us for desserts starting at 5:30 PM. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday nights!
